The Incident in the Capital City

Silence reigned in the royal library. No one was disturbing the peace of it's corridors and countless bookcases. Suddenly a bright sparkle splitted the air in one of the sections, and two fancy girls appeared almost like from nowhere. One of them - a slim brunette with a pale skin, wearing a black silk suit with a puffy sleeves, looked around and licked her lips, showing a pair of needle-alike fangs

"Yes! The scroll apparited us right into the right place!" she smiled.

"It's so silent here! I can smell only papers and dust..." the other one whispered. She looked much weirder, being fully naked, but almost fully covered with gray fur and having a bushy wolf tail "Are you sure, that we're in the right library, milady?"

"Of course, stupid mutt!" vampiress shook her head "Or are you expecting that the royal library will be as noisily and full of people, as in some parish school's library?" she took a piece of parchment from her pocket and brought it up to her companion's nose "Now find me a book, which smells just like this! Quickly!"

Werewolfess took a smell and nodded. She walked around the bookcases, smelling about. Finally she stopped in front of one of them and waved to her companion.

"It is somewhere here milady!" she shouted "Come here!"

"Hush, you fool!" vampiress shouted back and came near "Where is it?"

"There!" werewolfess pointed at the top shelf. Vampiress quickly jumped on a ladder and took five books from the shelf.

"Which one?!" she made her companion stand on all fours to smell all the books. She-werewolf growled but quickly checked the folios. Finally she nodded and reached vampiress the book they were looking for.

“Perfect!” vampiress patted she-werewolf’s head “Now we have all we need!”

“Glad to hear it, milady! But maybe we’d better get out of here?” werewolfess sneezed “It's so dusty here! I barely can smell anything!”

“Have patience! I need to check one more thing!” vampiress opened the book and quickly looked through it “Yes! Yes! This is just what I needed!”

“Hurry, milady! I hear some voices and smell some parfum!” werewolfess whispered.

“Just one second!” vampiress laughed “Let me get a scroll and… Oh, in the name of Isaiah! Where the Darkness is it?!” she looked around in panic “Why didn’t you remind me to check if I didn’t forget anything?!” she shouted.

“But you never heard me, milady?” werewolfess answered carefully.

Before the vampiress said anything, the door opened and two tall beautiful elven girls appeared at the doorstep.

“Whoops!” vampiress gulped “Princess Maera?!”

“Yes!” the princess responded in stern voice “I am princess Maera! And who the Darkness are you two?!” she pointed with a golden rod at the intruders “Guardians! Guardians! Go here immediately!”

Before the vampiress and werewolfess could even blink, two elven knights appeared right behind the princess and her tirewoman.

“Oh, dark! Run!” the werewolfess screamed.

All the guards were alerted, so the vampiress and her she-werewolf companion were in very big trouble. They escaped from the library only by a miracle just to get chased right on the streets. The day was sunny, so they even couldn’t just run whenever they wanted, but were doomed to choose only the most shady bystreets. And the elven knights were just in the wake of them.

Finally both girls broke away from the chase. They ran into a tunnel that led over the wall. But when they made even a few steps forward a tall man in a blue mantle stepped in their way.

“You shall not pass!” he said, raising a wand.

“Whoops!” both girls yelped in unison. Suddenly elven knights appeared from behind. Vampiress dropped the book.

“What do we have here?” the wizard asked “Two creatures of the night are walking around in broad daylight in Rûannedh! And if this is not enough, they also just robbed the royal library!” he shook his head “What a tohubohu!” he looked closely at the vampiress “Wait a minute! Athanasia Elisabeth Morrisville, more known as Dame Athanasia! It's a perfect scandal! A noble woman caught as a knight of the road!” he smacked his lips and turned to the she-werewolf “And what is this? An animal, who’s arrogant enough to think it can be called a sentient being? Or a woman, who’s wild enough to become an unreasonable animal? Do you have a name, beast?”

“It’s Livonna Grau…” she-werewolf replied, but when she opened her mouth again, the wizard interrupted her before she could say anything more and nodded to the knights.

“Enough! Bring these two bandits to her royal highness! She’ll pass judgment!”

Princess Maera was laconic and merciless. Her sentence was short - public whipping and pillory. Dame Athanasia, since even being a criminal she still was a nobility, was put into a less humiliating position, while her she-werewolf companion's right to save any dignity was denied and the poor wolfgirl was put in the most humiliating and uncomfortable position under a thick awning, which should protect the vampiress from the deadly sunlights.

The whole city gathered to see the punishment of the two gentlewomen of fortune, who were brave, bold and crazy enough to break into the royal library. Two torturers took whips to show the crowd their mastery to bring any criminal to penitence. Athanasia’s loud screams and Livonna’s desperate howling were heard far away around the central square.

When the whipping was finally over, Athanasia’s back and buttocks and Livonna’s buttocks and thighs became all dark red and swollen. Both girls already were able only to sniff and weep bitterly. But their punishment was still far from over. They were left in pillory to the end of the day and everyone in the city could come to the square to see the supernatural partners in crime in this very unenviable position.

For poor Athanasia and Livonna this day was the most terrible in their lives. But even it finally ended. The guards released both girls from the pillory and threw them away from the city walls.

It took some time before the vampiress and she-werewolf could even normally feel their numbed limbs.

“Stupid beast! All because of you!” vampiress moaned.

“Me?!” she-werewolf howled “But I had done nothing wrong!”

“If you were more brave to attack those elves! If you did remind me to check the scrolls! Stupid animal! Ugh!” Dame Athanasia hardly sat down, but screamed in pain and fell on the side.

“If I were brave enough to fight them, we both would be decapitated, milady! Or worse!” Livonna responded, hardly standing on all fours “You didn’t fight back very bravely!”

“Oh, shut your mouth!” milady Morrisville finally stood up and, moaning and sniffing, put on her clothes, while her companion was still warming up her much worse numbed limbs.

“What do we do now?” werewolfgirl asked, finally standing up.

“First I’ll take care of your uselessness!” vampiress respond, picking up a flexible fresh switch. Werewolfess just had time to say “Whoops…” before her companion made her to not just stand on all fours again, but also lower her chest to touch the earth, while her very sore bottom stuck out up into the air. Vampiress took she-werewolf by her tail and pulled it, making her raise her sore butt even higher. “Oh, I’ll teach you talking back to me!” she raised the switch and landed it over Livonna’s swollen buttock really hard “I’ll teach you how to choose the worst way to escape! I’ll teach you how to blame me for your mistakes!” every word was accompanied with a stingy soundly stroke of the switch, which was making poor she-werewolf howling and wagging her bottom desperately. She tried to break out, but her companion’s foot on her back and her hand on her tail made that impossible. So all she could was howling and begging for mercy.

Finally the vampiress stopped and released the she-werewolf. Poor wolfgirl jumped up and started the brat war dance, while her still angry companion wearily looked around.

“We must hurry!” she said “The night is young, but we have a long way to go! Turn into a complete animal, stupid beast! I need a mount!”

“But I am a she-wolf! Not a horse!” Livonna protested, still rubbing her sore behind. But when Athanasia just raised the switch, she resignedly stood on all fours and howled out loud, when her body started completing the change. Few seconds later she turned into a large gray wolf. Vampiress smiled contentedly and got onto her. Before she-wolf made even a step the switch landed on her sore backside hard, making her howl.

“Now now rush like the wind! And don’t stop, before we reach our lair!” vampiress said, putting spurs to her.

They rode the whole night, and every time the vampiress thought that she-werewolf was running too slow, she struck her with a switch mercilessly.

Finally they reached their lair. Vampiress put her dress off and lay over the floor, while she-werewolf turned back into a wolfgirl form. She sniffed and rubbed her now even more sore bottom very carefully.

“Boohoo!!! My poor bottom! Bess, that switch was too much!” she complained.

“Shut your mouth, if you don’t want to get more!” vampiress shouted “Now bring here my healing lotion! And quickly!”

“Argh!” she-werewolf growled, but resignedly brought a big bowl of the lotion and started carefully putting it over her companion’s sore parts.

“Well, at least this time I didn't fail it all over!” vampiress said “Too bad, we didn’t keep the damned book!”

“What is so important with that book?” she-werewolf asked.

“Well, do you remember our raid on the dragon’s lair?” vampiress turned her head, looking at she-werewolf over her shoulder.

“Yes…” werewolfess trembled, remembering the terrible pain she felt that time.

“In the book, I found and lost again there I found a mention of the Paddle of Destiny!” vampiress said “And today I found it again. In the book you found me. Now I guess I know where I should continue my quest!”

“A Paddle of Doom?” she-werewolf asked again.

“The Paddle of Destiny!” vampiress shouted “But wait! That’s a brilliant idea! We need to return first to the dragon's lair and then to the library! I’m sure, somewhere there should be the information, how to make that Paddle more friendly to a bad girls like me!” she laughed.

“And then we’ll get all what we need?” she-werewolf asked, but the gaze of her companion made her gulp “I mean, you’ll get all, what you need!” she closed her mouth, continuing covering Dame Athanasia’s sore buttocks with the healing lotion.
